The Vanuatu Volleyball Federation is pleased to announce it has entered into a new major sponsorship deal with Titan FX, which will fund the elite National Beach Volleyball team as it prepares for the Pacific Games in Samoa next month, and increased international competition beyond that.
Titan FX is a technology-driven financial securities dealer, based in Port Vila, working in foreign exchange and commodities, which is keen to support the growth and development of Vanuatuâs leading sports team as it competes on the international stage.
Managing Director Audrius Bernotas believes this partnership is a reflection of the companyâs vision as a part of the Vanuatu community.
âEvery employee of Titan FX, expat or local, loves Vanuatu and wants to promote it globally,â he said.
âWe think that one of the best ways to do this is to support professional athletes who carry the Vanuatu flag in global tournaments while overcoming numerous challenges. For everyone in the world seeing these success stories will help put Vanuatu on the map, which will help build trust for international businesses based here.â
Initial funding support will be focussed on the next three months, facilitating preparation for Samoa2019 in Apia, and then onto at least one Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) tournament as the 12-month leadup to the Tokyo Olympics begins.
The year ahead is a big one for VVF and President Debbie Masauvakalo is excited by the opportunities this Titan FX sponsorship opens up for beach volleyball to keep taking the next step in representing Vanuatu at the highest level.
âVVF is very pleased to welcome Titan FX on board in support of the goals we are trying to achieve as a small Pacific island nation on the world stage of sport â particularly womenâs sport,â said Masauvakalo.
âWith the annual competition calendar getting busier, a partnership like this one is invaluable to Volleyballâs success both as a team internationally and as a sporting federation, which looks to continually advocate for sports participation in the community, to promote good female role models and for active, healthy lifestyles.â
