The Australian High Commission’s First Secretary, Frederic Jeanjean, has handed over funding assistance to the Vanuatu Volleyball Federation (VVF) for the construction of two beach volleyball courts in Luganville.
The Australian co-funded beach volleyball project, dubbed by VVF officials as “The Field of Dreams”, will see the construction of a fenced compound which will feature two beach volleyball courts providing a safe and secure environment for students, families and youths of Santo to play volleyball and keep fit.
VVF President, Debbie Masauvakalo said: “This project, when completed, will change the community’s everyday life and help VVF’s Volley4Change (V4C) program.
